The power of social bookmarking sites is awesome. One of the keys to unlocking this power is to be helpful to your fellow users in the site. Giving value with the quality of your bookmarks. It’s not all about me and my posts every time. There’s more punch and potency to it when your blog post is being promoted or talked about by someone else.

I agree with what you said about bloggers using social bookmarking sites to generate traffic into their sites. What they should realize is they should keep their sites interesting enough so visitors would come back for more.
