Well sadly for me I’ve been sick for the whole holiday season. I have been coughing and lost my voice for a week or two before I had gone to the doctor for check-up. I must say that the experience was terrible.
I literally had sleepless nights. Coughing from evening until morning, it’s said that it was a form of allergy. My throat was very itchy and dry, and it is at its worst on bedtime.
After check-up, I was said that I have a Laryngitis – some infection on the Larynx. It started and evolved from Sinusitis to Rhinitis, to Pharyngitis, and to Laryngitis because I didn’t take any medications right away. The doctor said that it’s a good thing that I finally had it checked for it may further evolve to Bronchitis, to Pneumonitis, and to Pneumonia.
He prescribed me a ton of medicines, Anti-biotic, Anti-Histamine, and Mucolytic. In which I have to take it three times a day for one week. After a week of medication, I finally got some decent sleep but my cough and voice haven’t recovered fully yet.
Now my doctor is still out of the country so I’m just taking another round of Mucolytic and Anti-Histamine – which was prescribed by my beloved Dermatologist. *Shh..this is a secret..She doesn’t want to let my other doctor knew about it. *
I’m getting better. Please continue to pray for me. Thanks so much guys!
*P.S.. If anyone is experiencing the same symptoms, I encourage you to visit your doctor A.S.A.P. don’t try to cure it yourself.*
Try to run on a treadmill for 30 minutes while staring on a blank wall. I’ll bet that you will be staring on the clock instead, counting down the minutes that you still have to go. 15 minutes have passed and you are already dying to get off the treadmill. The worst thing that could happen is your determination weakens and you’ll dread your next schedule for workout.
A rundown: You have the determination to work out and burn those calories. The only problem is there isn’t anything to keep you there.
Now try running the treadmill for the same duration, but this time there will be good music all over the room plus a television in front of you. It’ll make you stay there longer, and you won’t mind being in the same place on the next workout.
