It has been a historic weekend for all Filipinos last week, July 23 to 24, 2011. Mr. MVP, Manny V. Pangilinan made the impossible, possible by bringing NBA All-Stars: Kobe Bryant, Derrick Rose, Chris Paul, Kevin Durant, Derek Fisher, James Harden, JaVale McGee, Tyreke Evans, and Derrick Williams here in the Philippines to play exhibition game with PBA Selections and Smart Gilas.
More than MVP’s gift to Filipinos, I think the main reason for this event was to unveil the “New” Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
When I first learned that NBA all-stars are coming, though I am a huge NBA fan, I really didn’t get that excited because I’m not so much of a Kobe fan. But when I heard Derrick Rose and Kevin Durant are also coming to play, that’s the time I told myself, “Oh boy..I got to get those tickeeets!”
It’s a dream come true for many Filipinos to see how NBA players hoop it live. And I’m sure our Filipino basketball players also dreamt of playing against them.
It has been a fantasy turned into reality. Thanks Mr. MVP!
I just observe that the more time I spend on work, the less time I give to blogging. Again, I would like to terribly apologize about that.
But now with the help of WordPress on Android, I’m hoping that I can somehow manage to post more often. I’m actually using the app to write this post.
The downside that I observed so far about this app is that I couldn’t see what would be the post look like. And another one is I cannot configure, nor tweak, its SEO using the wordpress plug-in installed in the platform.
In any case, I’m really excited to use this app to help me blog. It’s better than nothing I guess..

Sorry but I would like to also take this opportunity to announce that I and Great Wall North EDSA will be participating in Manila International Auto Show tomorrow at World Trade Center in Manila. It’s a grand annual event that car makers are looking forward to each year.

Today I attended a blogger event at Victory Center, Promenade, Greenhills, San Juan. It’s a seminar of personal and practical finance for bloggers. It was organized by Carlo Ople of News Media Philippines, and the speaker was Randell Tiongson. – Great guys!
