Perhaps I could just bullet some points that could help you with your goal. 1.) Faith/Pray. Ask God for guidance. 2.) Learn. Don't stop learning 3.) Work hard. Really hard. 4.) Don't be afraid of failures. It's the key to success. 5.) Be good to others. Hope that you'll bring this with you on your journey. In this case being positive you have experienced life in different phases and all these contribute to you being JeD. I also believe they are blocks of learning and sometimes we start out desiring to be something but as time age and maturity come into lay we find out our attention or focus shifts to something that we would derive joy in. For some it may take time, others it may be immediate and for the rest the may never think down that line. I rememeber when i was a kid i wanted to be a doctor, now when i think back my desires then was for prestige, class and importance. I felt i would be respected seeing my uncles, dad friends being respected because they were professionals. But over time i have discovered your profession alone doesnt bring about respect but rather self discipline, integrity, good character, skills builds up your personality. In my case i didnt become a doctor laugh!!!, i studied chemistry, has worked/is working in a telecommunication/utilities company but i found out i was passionate about talking to people, encouraging friends colleagues etc and was involved in counselling at church. I began to develop this passion and interest and work on it voluntarily. After some time i decided this would be what i want to retire doing for the rest of my life and i have to at least be a professional in my own rights. This led me back to studying and being accredited as a counsellor at a professional level and although I AM STILL FAR AWAY FROM THE GOAL SET I AM WORKING HARD TOWARDS IT. Everything i have learnt in the past and present help me through so no experience is lost. Hope i havent bored you. Will keep going through your blog.
