I’m currently listening to Beyonce’s “If I Were A Boy.” I like it, it’s a great new single. I have also heard the other 2 remixes of this song: One with R. Kelly and the other with Lee Carr. Lee Carr’s version is like comparing the differences between boys and girls. While R. Kelly’s version is like he’s defending the boys, and trying to correct the perception of girls towards boys.
It seems like this song is full of unending arguments between boys and girls. It’s given that the boys are this and the girls are that, no matter how you put it they are just different. These differences “may” cause troubles to relationships, but that should not be the case. After all those differences drawn boys and girls together.
The differences between boys and girls should be treated properly. It should not be a hindrance whether in friendship or in a relationship. On contrary, differences builds relationships. Just like spoon and fork, they’re totally different but they work great if they’re together. I don’t think eating with both spoons or forks can really help you eat properly.
But it is indeed difficult to manage differences in a relationship IF both doesn’t know how to Compromise – In layman’s term, “To meet halfway.” Meeting halfway works wonders in a relationship: It can save an argument, gain a better understanding toward significant other, peace of mind, and a lot more. Perhaps Compromise is the only bridge between boys and girls.

It is not an issue of differences between boys and girls, but an issue of how they compromise and adjust to each other.
