Maybe they wont get as much time as the best players on the team and you are right, that being on the sidelines sucks the confidence of a player on the bench but that's the thing, it does just that. When that player is sitting on the bench for every game of every minute they believe they are not worth it, but they are. Why are they on the team anyways, when they don't get to play at all? For the teams at my school, the kids sit out even when we're easily defeating the other team. Now that's selfish. Every person needs a chance and if you dont give them that, you're the person in the wrong. Once you pay these kids money, then you can keep them on the bench.
