Auto Detailers Has Still Got It Going On

Retro Carwash

Tomorrow is my birthday! (Happy Birthday to Me!) :D

I was supposed to have my car detailed today, just want my car to look awesome on my birthday. :P Setting that idea aside..I went to one auto detailer my mom recommended (Shell, Retiro). Though it is more expensive compare to others, she said that their  workmanship is pretty solid. In addition to that, we could issue *ahem* posted dated checks.

Unfortunately, the place was jam-packed. So I went to two other detailers nearby, Buff & Grime and Clean Habit, but no luck for me. They said that they will just schedule my car for next week. All of these were products of Typhoon Ondoy.

Amazingly, it has been two weeks since Ondoy, but man the business it has brought is still going on! I’m happy for them. I’m happy for all businesses that were amplified by Typhoon Ondoy.

It seemed like my car won’t be that awesome on my birthday huh? Well, I think I won’t let that happen – went for the last resort. Have you seen those car wash boys who wears blue in mall parking areas? Oh yeah, I went to SM North Edsa – The Block to have my car washed and waxed.

For 450PHP they somehow manage to awesomify my ride. It’s better than nothing right?

Package includes: Wash, wax,  tire black, vacuum, dashboard wax and air freshener. Added another 50PHP for tip.

Forgive me to have not provided a photo of my ride. I actually forgot to take a picture of it ehe  I’ll update this post with its photo later. Hopefully with a decent camera.

**TIP**

If you’re planning to have your car detailed, it is best to call your detailer first – then set a schedule. You won’t believe how jam-packed the detailing centers are. If you can settle for wash and wax for the mean time, try those in malls. I’m pretty satisfied with the result. Just leave your car and go shopping! :D

Happy Birthday, Jed!!! Your car looks squeaky, shiny and clean. My husband loves taking his car to places like that, too. It’s like Disneyland for him.
