Addicted to Phoenix Wright

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Phoenix Wright: Justice For AllPhoenix Wright: Trials And Tribulation

Phoenix Wright is an addictive game in Nintendo DS wherein you play as a young defense attorney.

I believe that this game is more for mature audiences, thus the game is very heavy in text; therefore I think less young audiences will actually appreciate the game.

Phoenix Wright has three series: Ace Attorney, Justice For All, and Trials and Tribulations. I have already finished the first two titles, and I just started Trials and Tribulations. I’ve read that Phoenix Wright resigned in the last series, thus made Apollo Justice the main character in the fourth title: Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney.

I find Phoenix Wright very addictive. It’s beauty lies within its twisted story and humorous punchlines. The game is divided into two parts, the investigation and the actual trial. In the investigation part, you collect evidence by talking to people or even do the investigation yourself. On the actual trial, this is when you present all the evidence you’ve collected to uncover the truth whether your client is guilty or not. I love it when the game takes advantage of the DS’s features like the microphone and touch screen when investigating.

One highlight I find very amusing in the game is when Phoenix Wright works together with his greatest rival, Miles Edgeworth; Their relationship is a work of art.

This game is highly recommended. But I encourage gamers to not depend on walkthroughs, this will really make you feel fulfilled everytime you solved a case.
